How would you feel when someone gives you an expensive diamond jewelry piece? Ecstatic? Anna Kendrick, the 29-year old star of “Pitch Perfect,” thinks otherwise. That is, a crazed fan sent to her address a pair of diamond earrings. It sounded so creepy that she threw it in the trash. She felt it didn’t feel right to wear it, much less give it to her friend or a family member. The incident sounded like straight from a serial killer suspense script that Anna was sure she did the right thing. And, oh, the diamond gift came with a letter that professed the man’s “love” for her. We wonder though had the diamond been a Stephen Webster, would it find its way to the bin? Perhaps she’d think twice. Last time we heard, refuse collectors are scampering to find Anna’s discarded diamond.

Some celebrities like Audrey Hepburn and Julie Andrews seemed to carry elegance without an effort. Truth is, you need a conscious effort to achieve elegance. It helps a lot to start with a sophisticated jewelry signature like a Stephen Webster. Wear them with confidence without being ostentatious. Likewise, pay attention to your hair. A swept back hair in buns appears “clean and neat,” making your hair more refined. Also stick to time-tested formal colors for your wardrobe like black and white, although some occasional red or yellow dash is welcome. Also give your eyes the cat style with a simple dab of eyeliner, and make sure to use subtle makeup. Lastly, always carry a smile. It never fails to give you that touch of grace.

So you have made good of your promise to marry her in a memorable wedding with a Stephen Webster ring to cap the climax. Now offer something memorable for the rest of her life. Live in a toilet. We’re not kidding. It’s a house designed to resemble that ubiquitous seat in Suwon, South Korea. An ex-mayor had the two-story house built to remind him of his humbling past: he was born in a restroom. But this toilet doesn’t come cheap; it’s worth $1.1 million, a price that luxury jewelry buyers can surely afford. The toilet house was built to commemorate the inaugural of, what else, the World Toilet Association. Not that we literally recommend you build your own toilet house, but a house with a story will surely add to the memories that you will be collecting since marrying the person of your dreams.

I’ve read a Pew research that says many Americans today are unsure if going out with a person they’re interested in can be considered a date. I think that’s a more serious problem than our country’s anemic economy. I’m in my fifties and my generation never had this date doubt. When I was a teen going out with someone to watch a Brooke Shields movie or roller skate in the park at night was definitely a date. Even before taking her out, you have to fetch her at home, say hello to the parents and ask their permission. A soda pop or ice cream split should cap a wonderful date night. And if things get really serious between the two of you, the guy would start saving up to buy a luxury ring, maybe akin to a Stephen Webster ring, to profess his undying love. It was a simple, romantic and happy life back then.

Did you know that jewelry is the second most counterfeited product in the U.S.? Fake jewelry accounts for 29% of total seized counterfeit goods last year, an increase of 169% from 2011. That’s why it is important that you only buy luxury jewelry items like Stephen Webster from authorized dealers. In fact, don’t buy a luxury item because it’s cheap. A sophisticated buyer knows signature jewelry comes with a hefty price because of their quality and exclusive design. If the “signature” is cheap, that’s your first clue that it may be contraband. Don’t buy it, not just because it makes you look cheap, but it hurts the economy of the whole country. Counterfeit items rob the country of taxes and job opportunities. Besides, nothing feels and looks like the genuine article, like a Stephen Webster butterfly accents.

Some people require a gentle reminder, while others require a bite to secure a successful career.
One woman was promoted at a young age for her focus and ability to overcome daily challenges. She always wear a Stephen Webster unclenched shark jaw bracelet around her wrist to serve as an ever ominous reminder to watch her back. She must stay afloat in what feels like a shark infested territory of her workplace. She knows that her colleagues may smile, but behind the veneer they are hungry for her job. She must maintain a survivor's mentality, unless she wants her job thrown to the next wunderkind. Will she allow the jaws of corporate politics to clench on her? Not a chance! In the meantime, she wear the Stephen Webster with pride and elegance.

Uniqueness is hard to achieve when you are trying to please everyone. But when you have a niche; when you have accolades that share your tastes, compromise will not be a word in your vocabulary. This is true to Stephen Webster, the man, the brand. “…I knew I could give people something exciting, that I'd never have been able to do if I'd been making three-stone diamond rings for the trade." This statement made by Webster himself encapsulates his style; a style that has always brought excitement and intrigue by making jewels stand out and speak. Known for leaning heavily on his rock and roll influence, Stephen Webster has been a go-to for many A-listers. He had done works for Madonna for Guy Richie, Angelina Jolie, Christina Aguilera and adorned Lisbeth Salander star Rooney Mara for the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo movie. The latter captures lust, envy, sloth, wrath, gluttony, and pride in seven eye catching pieces. In luxury rock and roll jewelries, there are a lot of ‘cool’ pieces. A jewelry piece is, above all, a personal style. The wearer and the piece find each other, their style suddenly becoming one, and they become inseparable. The woman wears the jewelry, or is it the ring that bears the woman? The line blurs, especially if it is a Stephen Webster signature. Its glamorous yet rock star power attitude clearly sets the individuality of a Stephen Webster piece, unafraid to stand on its own merit. One of the sought-after British jewelry signatures, Stephen Webster lays down a gamut of trendy but elegant showcase of silver, white gold and gemstones crafted with the highest aesthetic mastery. From fine jewelry, mens’ and women’s silver, a collection of pendants, rings, bracelets, necklaces, belts, earrings and brooches, a Stephen Webster is a global favorite with boutiques in fashionable centers, such as Beverly Hills, London, Vienna, Marbella, St. Petersburg and Moscow. A steady stream of loyal fans gets personal with a Stephen Webster collection, with Madonna, Christina Aguilera, Kate Moss, Sir Elton John, Mickey Rourke and Kate Beckinsale but a few Hollywood celebrities who have lined up to wear the jewelry brand.

"Lust" is part of the Seven Deadly Sins collection by Stephen Webster.
One visit to Stephen Webster’s website alerts the visitor that this jewelry selection will be edgy, current, yet anchored with age-old tradition. All of the jewelry is magnificent, each piece a work of art on its own. A closer eye and knowledge of the name bestowed upon an item expose subtleties that might otherwise go unnoticed. In the “Seven Deadly Sins” collection, a rose gold setting holds a beautiful garnet stone with diamonds and rubies that might catch an observer’s eye, but the closer view reveals the setting with intricate detail of hands choking the garnet in Wrath. “It Started with Eve …” is a collection that pays homage to the original first lady, Eve, as well as Bonnie Parker and Lady MacBeth. Stephen Webster’s designs, available at Shreve & Co. are lauded by celebrities including Elton John, Katy Perry, Anne Hathaway, and Jay Z, and are unique and daring while remaining classic in style.
