Beautiful diamond jewelry like Suna Bros. didn’t start as refined, seamless pieces. But they do start as one impressive piece, albeit rough on the sides. The jeweler’s challenge is to cut, sharpen, and polish the rough sides to achieve the finished diamond, which is about one-third of its raw size. Since diamonds cannot be fused together, diamond hunters go for lengths to discover the biggest rough diamond. Recently, an astounding 232.08-carat raw diamond was unearthed in South Africa. It’s a Type II D diamond, which means its top quality with no nitrogen impurities and it’s colorless. Experts estimate the price of the raw find at $10 million; it should easily go up once the diamond goes through refinement. The rare discovery is set for bidding between October and December.

Why did we fall in love with the movie, Notting Hill? It’s about a young man living in Notting Hill, a town in England, which apparently is as inconspicuous as a small English town can get. He keeps a regular ordinary day running his bookshop, until one day, he encounters Anna, a Hollywood celebrity from the U.S. They fall in love, got separated because of differences that are worlds apart, but in the end, they get back in each other’s arms. Can something be cheesier than that? Maybe none, but we like the feeling of love putting two persons of different backgrounds as varied as an apple is to orange. We aspire to the purity of love, that day when we, too, will be slipping a Suna Bros. ring in our loved one’s finger without prejudice to her background.

You vow in your wedding to wear the Suna Bros. ring forever, or at least until you die. But should you really wear it all the time especially if you’re traveling in an adventure, say, a backpack tour of Eastern Europe? Why not? But a little extra care should be taken especially if you’re going to places you’re not familiar with or if you’re traveling alone. The fast rule is never take off your ring at any time. That includes shower and cooking. It’s easy to forget the ring when you do this. Unlike forgetting it on your kitchen table, leaving it some hotel or, worse, restaurant’s restroom is as sure as sunrise that you’re not getting it back. In the rare case that you need to tuck it somewhere, keep a small pocket attached to your clothes. This ensures the ring stays with you all the time.

Choosing the maid of honor proves to be more complicated than shortlisting the wedding ring down to Suna Bros. pink diamond ring. Unlike the ring which has clear-cut above-industry qualities, your maid of honor doesn’t come with a benchmark. The maid of honor is your team leader that will help you make sure the wedding and its preparations run smoothly. To avoid jealousy of who is the better friend, focus the choice on skills. Whoever you think has multitasking skills and events organizational talent wins the coveted role. Treat the selection like a professional and your other friends will less likely be “offended” of being left out. In any case, show them your Suna Bros. ring and the conversations will surely drift to how lovely the ring is.

Wearing a Suna Bros. pink diamond ring, where to go to flaunt its luxury? Try this — get on board any of these super luxurious yachts and rub shoulders with the world’s billionaires. But there’s a caveat; these yachts are a little weird on the side. The Yacht Island Designs came up with a luxurious boat featuring, of all things, a volcano that you can bring from one island to another. A 10,000-sq. feet of super yacht that makes you feel at home in your mansion, which begs the question, why not just stay home? A yacht with a missile defense system because it’s owned by Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich, who’s always a prime target for kidnappers. And here’s the best, get in a yacht that brings the whole of Monaco on board. These yachts are meant to showcase luxury and your Suna Bros. will truly feel at home in any of them.

Pink diamonds are rare. They are mostly found in the remote mines of Africa, India, and Brazil and are formed way deep down under the earth’s mantle. What give them the pinkish glare are the minerals safely contained in the crystals that are far from the surface of the earth and safe from the adverse effects of heat. The minerals are hence trapped and preserved in exactly the right amount and time to give them the pinkish hue. It is this rare value of pink diamonds that makes Suna Bros. one of the truly luxurious signatures in the world. Suna Bros. is known for manufacturing pink diamond jewelry that boasts of simple yet splendid creations soothing to the eyes. The platinum diamond leaf bracelet, starfish pendant, heart pendant, snowflake pin, or the simple gold pink diamond ring--all these display the true essence of craftsmanship that Suna Bros. is known for.

Hence, it should be able to stand the test of time and keep its sentimental value. For over 70 years, Suna Bros. has been handcrafting the most exquisite wedding bands. Suna Bros. brings pink diamonds to their modern classics which are available at Shreve & Co.. The jewelry designs range from formal to everyday designer collections that are wearable and lasting. Earrings, necklaces, bracelets, pins and rings are included with special designs that appeal to smart, sophisticated women who seek quality jewelry. Like women, pink diamonds are not completely understood and exude a mysterious quality that is yet undefined. Perhaps, when the cause of the pink color is determined, women will be less complicated. Then again, women can have far more facets than any diamond could hold; diamonds merely reflect a woman’s beauty and enhance her mystery.
