Jaeger-LeCoultre: Expert Watch Makers Doing Serious Work

Posted at 10:00:41 PM in Jaeger Lecoultre (6)

Many expert professionals come together to bring you Jaeger-LeCoultre's fine watch collections. The life of a bestselling watch begins with a sketch from an artistic and knowledgeable Jaeger-LeCoultre designer who is armed with a pencil, a sheet of paper and the brand's philosophy of balance and perfection. After the design is through, the manufacturer creates large scale blueprints using advanced 3D software. As the man behind the nitty-gritty task of determining the most appropriate materials, manufacturing methods, and movement to use, a manufacturer has to be a seasoned expert of all the technical angles of watch making. When the designs are finalized and the manufacturing plans defined, the calibre-maker sets to work in assembling and adjusting movements. He is the guy who gets to work on perfecting and testing prototypes. After a year or two of hard work and collaboration, the watch finally hits production. Jaeger -LeCoultre takes no shortcuts in this final step, and makes sure every single detail is faultless before a piece is released to the market.

Swiss made Jaeger Lecoultre watches are available at Schiffman's Jewelers in Palo Alto area.
