Watches for Extreme Cold

Posted by Shreve & Co. at 8:34:08 AM in Ball (26)

The U.S. Northeast digs out from snow after a winter storm recently hit. The deadly winter storm dumped up to more than 15 inches of snow in worst-hit areas. But even after the calm, the cold spell lingers into most parts of the U.S., with freezing temperatures playing up to negative 22 degrees Celsius. It is in these times that what people wear matters as the bitter cold could be harmful to one's health. For timepieces, what could stand the test of extreme weather conditions?
The Ball Watch company have engineered timepieces that could withstand cold of up negative 40 to negative 60 degrees Celsius. In fact, Ball can be worn for expeditions in the North and South Poles. The Ball Watches have specially blended Swiss watch oils making it possible to withstand extreme cold.
Ball Watch is available in Shreve & Co. at Portland, Oregon.
