Vacheron Constantin was founded in 1755 by Jean-Marc Vacheron, an independent watchmaker in Geneva, Switzerland. The company is best known for creating the very first complication in 1770 and the first engine-turned dials in 1779. Today, Vacheron Constantin continues to push the boundaries of modern watch making. In 2015, the company revealed the world's most complicated mechanical watch which took 3 watchmakers 8 years to build and is comprised of 57 complications.
